Must one Hold to the trinity to be saved?

Hello Dave F.;

I came across your post and had to respond. I remember a Bible study years ago taught and a sister made a great point, the same one you just shared. "At that moment the criminal certainly had other things on his mind, but not the Trinity."

Jesus was specific that the only way to the Father is through Jesus.

Additionally, the power of the Spirit prompted the criminal as he was dying to say to the other criminal, Luke 23:40b, “Do you not fear God,

In Luke 23:42 And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”

In Luke 23:43,43 And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

I truly believe your post was the working of the Trinity in the criminal.

Genesis 6 does not say they were intimate. it says the women BORE for them.
Fallen Angels would have done same way as how Mary became pregnant.

So by your comment.....you are saying that FALLEN angels/Demons have the same power in life as does GOD!

How does and Angels have sex when the Bible says in Matthew 22:30 that angels do not marry or reproduce??

WHEN we go back to the Word of God we see that Adam and Eve had a 3rd son named SETH. It was through him that men began to call upon the name of the Lord. Cain left and now the Son of Promise would come through SETH.

Now, more Bible truth.........In Genesis 6:4, the phrase “men of renown” uses the Hebrew word iysh. This term is used consistently as “man” or descendants of Adam—even Adam used it of himself, yet it is never used of fallen angel, demons, or of Satan.
So, we are back to = "Conspiracy Theory"!

Now, if anyone would care to do the work and find out the truth, allow me to say that If you will follow the context of the Hebrew word in the original which is iysh into the following verses in Genesis 6, we find:

Romans 10:
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

that says nothing about believing in the trinity either.

But it does say that we have to believe in the PERSON of the Lord Jesus to be saved and HE is the 2nd PERSON of the Trinity.

i get paid to teach the Hebrew. i never said the Angels were equal to God. but we have evidence how God planted His SEED into the womb of Mary. if spirits can enter a human being then planting seeds is a very logical method.

you need to go back and understand how Genesis 3, 6, 11, Deuteronomy 32:8-9, Psalms 82 all connect to the War between God's Creation and the Rebellion of the Angels.

you are way off base.

that Verse says NOTHING that Jesus is any part of a trinity. it says, 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Still must see the God of the bible though as being the trinity, as that is how he described himself to us!

The Holy Spirit revealed to Him that Jesus was the LORD!

Lord is the same term used for God in the Bible, and so quite clear we must acknowledge Jesus is God, as also is his father!

Go forth into the Epistles, as very clear from their divine revelation from the Holy Spirit that God is Trinity!

Only way could see this happening would be if demons, fallen angels. had possessed those men, who then were used to procreate!

Again, the only sources for johm 5:7 were from Latin glosses and citations!Erasmus himself found no greek citation to support that in his first 2 TR editions!

Erasmus came along 1,000 years later. Jerome had more ACCESS to what was available in his day 350 AD than Erasmus 1,000 years later. at some point, you just have to accept the FACTS!

However.....lets cut to the chase. What is it that bothers YOU about saying that Jesus is the 2nd PERSON of the Trinity. BE SPECIFIC!
