What Does "bible Believing Christian" And "bible Believing Church" Mean?

Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Sorry I don't make the rules.

Gentlemen, this seems to have run far afield from anything profitable. Your positions are clear. Any valid counter points are swiftly being buried by a lack of respect for one-another. Perhaps it would be best to let it rest?

Sorry you don't understand them either. The sin of Sodom and Gomorrah is inhospitality.

Come on? lol and you want to pretend to be in an honest discussion of the truth? You cry "prove it" "prove it" and reject what is made most evident in the scriptures? This is the difference between true biblical Christianity and the nonsense some of you claim. Your not Christians you never was and never will be unless you repent of this sort of rejection of Gods Word.

Define sin first, then we can talk. I think you'll find everyone has a different definition and how on earth can we condemn it if no one sees it the same way?
And no, the world doesn't embrace sin. I think most people strive to actively avoid it.
The Bible defines sin, not us. The world does indeed embrace. You asked what it is a Bible believing Christian. It seems as though you don't like the answers.
For me, sin is anything that separates me from God. It's not our place to condemn sin. If you really think the world actively avoids sin, there is nothing I can say to open your eyes. I ask you to provide any scripture where sin, in any form, is tolerated. Please show any scripture where sin is defended. We are not called to be tolerant, we are called to be loving. Somehow it seems you've adopted the nonbelievers idea of what Christianity should be in exchange for what the Bible says a Christian should be.

Im sure the Mods are able to do their job, but thank you for your attempt to make moral relevance to defend the wicked as they promote ungodliness.

You need to give it a rest. I'm quite sure none of us are perfect so let's let keep ourselves in check and let God deal with everything else.

Let's get back on to the topic.

It isn't that I don't like the answers, it's just the answers I'm getting are so off-the-wall that I don't trust the answerers to give responsible answers. What makes you think I'm trying to defend sin? I'm just saying that some of you are so eager to tar things as SINFUL which some people would argue are NOT sinful that maybe you need to have a common consensus in place first.

Don't be so quick to judge. God doesn't like it, and people don't either. It's unbecoming.

You guys let the Moderators moderate the forum..and please don't limit my right to speak the truth and ability by the knowledge of your own sinfulness.

Yes like Sodom was an example of inhospitality...lol

You know Mitspa if you keep bringing the discussion back to homosexuality, people might start to wonder...

Until you start talking about burning them in hell as per your revenge fantasy.

I am allowed to mention it. Only you are bent on revenge.

Too absurd to take seriously, sorry. I think you will find that you can "change" homosexuality about as easily as you can change your eye color or which hand you write with.

I don't think you take anything in God's word seriously...and that includes deliverance from bondage and restoration that God performs in the lives people who love Him. Homosexuality can be completely eradicated from the hearts and minds of people who desire to serve their Lord.

You only see hatred in EVERYTHING. And you think it's a good thing. That's your trouble right there.

I see it in you, so far. It's a not so good thing here.

What on earth are you talking about now? Going to hate on the world's largest Christian denomination?
Catholics are Christians. Trust me on this one. I have a dictionary.

I haven't met too many Catholics who are Christians. Some are and many aren't. Just like protestants. You need to provide us your understanding of what makes a person a Christian. Do you know what "born again" means?

Use your bible, not a dictionary.

Well then what you're demanding is nothing less than for people to be castrated at birth. We are human beings and if you know anything about biology, we are also sexual beings. Most of us are attracted to the opposite sex, a minority are attracted to the same sex. Either way we experience desires (I'm not touching your judgmental word "lusts") and we cannot do anything about that.

That's a lie of Satan right there.

If you want to address the lack of respect, then you need to speak to only one member: PeaceLikeaRiver, who abuses those he disagrees with continually.
