First …It doesn’t say they received or were filled …you are reading into the Word things that are not there. Assuming that is what happened does not make it so…especially when there are several verses that conflict with that. Aside from the truth that you cannot receive something if it is not yet available. …and it was not available until Pentecost.
The effect as you stated in Luke 24:45 is in the context of Jesus teaching them as per verse 44. ↓
24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day.

A couple Questions: We know Thomas was not present when Jesus “breathed on them” in John 20:22 …did he get left out….
And do you believe Judas received the indwelling?
