Faith To Change Ur World

Discussion in 'Bible Study' started by yusuff taiwo, Aug 15, 2012.

  1. God had actually created a way for man, and it is through Jesus Christ our Lord. Meaning, we can live the way God intended us to live. Jesus Christ brought us a Higher Life. Now God can live in a man. This means that man can live above sin or sickness
Ref: Rom 5:17 “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one, much more they that receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ”
Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Romans 7:8 “But sin, was taken occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead”.
Not many have found themselves in this glorious life; they are busy seeking for things outside God.

Is it possible for God to live in you 24/7?

Yes. You see, this is not as a religion. Christianity is much more than that. Christianity is the life of God at work in a man. When you have this life of God (Zoe), you will stop searching. Amen
Today, God wants you to Trust Him, believe in Him. The reason why some don’t have this good life is simply because they lack faith.
Heb 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
God is a rewarder of Faith. How many of us want to please God, use your faith to do it.
You need faith to change that circumstance.

1John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.

So what are you going to do now?

Have faith in God. Amen. Sometimes just take your Bible and start shouting, “Solution!
Look at something else here; the (KJV) bible didn’t say ‘whosoever’ but ‘whatsoever’. Meaning that the ‘whosoever’ is included in ‘whatsoever’
    When you understand this;
You can’t start a business which will not work.
You can’t be pregnant and then lose the baby.
A dear sister was once pregnant and then later on started bleeding, she started confessing the Word, and now she has a baby. Wow
If you are not Born Again, today make that important decision. Amen

Look at Abraham, with his faith, he changed the world.
Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, [even] God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

    The Word of God works.

Refuse to accept any packet from the devil. Not even hereditary/genetic/transmissible sicknesses for you. By faith, that disease can go. Say that, “satan, I refuse your package”
Today, you will shut the mouth of whatsoever was trying to harm you. You will quench the fire.Exercise your faith by words and actions. Stand boldly and release that cancer; you have the power/authority to release the problems out of your life. You can grant permission to diseases for them to leave. Make up your mind to leave this blog with a solution. Remember when God made man, He made man to be in charge, ruleand dominate. So confess that, “I am in charge, I am a success”

  2. Oh the joy of collecting bits of scripture and making doctrine as you go!
For those of us who have been Christian for some time (some all their lives) and have done their absolute best to dutifully follow the Lord in all things and yet have illness, what do you say?
To those who are the flower of Evangelical life and yet have DEATH show up at their door, what do you say?
Paul was about as good as they get, and yet he had the "thorn in the flesh" which God refused to heal because "My strength is perfected in weaknesss".

God chastises those whom He loves, sometimes that chastisement is illness. When you claim that being a good Christian guarantees good health, not only are you lying, but you are doing a great disservice to those who suffer illness at God's discretion.

Major, covered_by_grace and calvin says Amen and like this.
  3. The really huge problem with teaching that seeks to impart the idea that if one is indwelt by God, they are 'bullet proof'.
Jesus was about as indwelt as can be........look at what happened to Him! Granted it was necessary for our benefit, Nevertheless He was murdered after suffering unspeakable cruelty.......cut down in the prime of live!
The idea that the indwelling of man by the Holy Spirit will somehow immunize them from disease and suffering ultimately death by misadventure ignores the truth that Jesus suffered as a man suffers. If we want to model our lives on Christ's life we must be prepared to walk in His footsteps as He is recorded to have said: Luke 9:23.
That does not necessarily mean that a man will literally be crucified, but one thing it does mean, and that is we must be prepared to roll up our sleeves and get involved in the saving of people.

  4. I am whatever God and Jesus Wills. If i have a need i simply remember Mark 11:22-24

“Have faith in God. Amen I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Arise, and hurl thyself into the sea,’ and does not waver in his heart, but believes that whatever he says will be done, it shall be done for him. Therefore I say to you, all things whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you shall receive, and they shall come to you.”

  5. Bearing fruit for God is fulfilling and joyful because you do it to please God and Jesus and not for self reasons.

  6. As always...........an excellant responce! I agree.

I heard a long time ago that God created birds and God created worms. But the bird must go out and get the worms.

  7. The OP said...............

"You can’t start a business which will not work.
You can’t be pregnant and then lose the baby."

I would encourage you to be more realistic in your understanding and expounding Gods Word.

We can not and should not take only the good things in Gods Word and wrap them up with a bow and make statements shuch as you just did. I know you mean well and I am sure yur heart is right BUT you must realize that many, many good Christian, born again women have lost a precious child before birth.

My own daughter lost a baby at the 4th month of pregnancy and there is not a person alive who loved the Lord more than she does.

The fact is that Christianity is NOT some pie in the sky where we get what we want and nothing can go wrong in our lives.
That is some really bad theology and very bad advice. BAD things happen to God's people and that is a fact. IT is not IF but WHEN and God NEVER EVER PROMISED US ANY DIFFERENT. What He did promise us was that WHEN bad things happen to us...........
He will comfort us, and carry us through those times.

  8. Great example.

  9. I can't say what God may do for you, or major, or anyone else for that matter. I only know what He has or hasn't done for me. But I think there is a serious problem, when anyone paints GOD as here to make man's life easier like He was a divine Santa Claus.

Last I checked, we serve Him. Not Him us. His son was the most righteous person to ever live, and He died and suffered mightily on the cross for God.

In S. AMerican there is a lot of teaching like this. I have friends who are missionaries there, teaching the people the Bible, to get them away from the Spiritual name it and claim it teachings so prevalent down there....

They have some horror stories that are much worse than I think the OP is here.... But I can only say I THINK the OP is. Heck maybe God has bestowed this person with all of this for a reason? But, My bet is the poster dies someday, and ultimately their claims will fail.

I think we live for the resurrection, not to perfect this life. But, hey, that's just ole, take the bible literally me thinking out loud.
