Escorted In!

When life hits you hard, and it seems like you just can't get into the place where you know you need to be before the Father in the Holy of Holies...

Yeah! I've been there! The battles raging through me in the months before the passing of my first wife, I struggled to "be there" in that Sanctum of the Presence of the Most High, and it was Christ, through the veil of His flesh, THAT is how I was escorted into that most glorious Presence! THAT is how I was given that measure of constancy that I had never known before.

How about you? Do you have a testimony of the Lord giving to you constancy. I got that word (constance, constancy) from The Book of Martyrs. It's a word I had to look up, and the ancient meaning is what we would understand to mean empowerment to withstand.

Don't YOU ever think that you are so evil that YOU have some sort of sin(s) that is/are too big for the Blood of Christ to have washed away!

I've heard of some people through the years who have claimed that the Lord could never forgive them for ALL their sin!

Only one person has ever said that in earshot of my presence, and I told him that him thinking that he is so high and mighty that he thinks he has done something that the Creator of this universe can't handle...NO!

The power in the Blood of Christ is such that a sin larger than this universe could not stop the Power in that Blood to cleanse them, and grant them access to the Holy of Holies through the veil of the flesh of Christ Jesus!

Amen

Yes I have encountered those kinds of people.

What they are saying when they say......."I am so bad that God can not save" ---is that they are guility and know it but will not submitt to God! PRIDE keeps them lost in their sin!

Your statements are true... however... trauma... and abuse cause a VERY REAL issue with the ability to allow oneself to be or feel loved. Just saying... It's not a case of being high and mighty... it's a case of simply feeling such guilt and shame that overwhelms a soul.

Guilt and shame are indeed instruments that can drive one to feel overwhelmed. What some people simply need is that little nudge to get over those ant hills over into the land that has the flowing river of Life.

Thanks, IAoH.

Hello Musicmaster;

A relationship with Jesus is a growing, developing and wonderful experience while on this earth. When the relationship blossoms we grow with the assurance of God's consistent and dependable faithfulness.

Our mistakes and sin will happen. But when we think that we're so evil that God cannot forgive us, that is limiting God. We're trying to show that we're too strong and we can get past our sin on our own without God's mercies and grace. This is when God cannot teach us, grow us and use us.

A relationship with Jesus also means a relationship, worship and discipleship with other believers which also brings out their Christian growth. I have brothers and sisters who have let me down and made mistakes, but their consistent walk with Christ are the prayer warriors, supportive to others and faithfulness to God. I see this most about them, this ministers to me and lets me in.

Those times when life hits me hard like sudden setbacks, disappointments, loss of life and the extremity of devastation, my yearning to grow daily with Christ allows me to see the consistency of God's covering and faithfulness. This helps minimize my spiritual and physical pain. I think better, come to my senses and can focus on dealing with my struggles. The Holy Spirit intervenes and helps me seek God and guide me through everything.

God bless
you, MM, and thank you for sharing Escorted In.

Bob
