Describe a " Blameless " Person
Titus 1: 6
An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient.
In Titus , Paul is instructing , Titus in a letter as to how to lead the troubled church on the island of Crete. Paul covers such matters as qualifications of church leaders , guidelines for a godly life and an emphasis on faith that over comes division among believers .
I think also these are good guide lines to be followed even today in our churches . The Cretians were described in verse 12 of chapter one as " liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons. That's pretty harsh language. So Titus has his work cut out for him.
My question is how would you describe a " blameless " person.?
