John 13:34-35
34. So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love one another just as I have loved you, you should love each other.

35. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.

Jesus not only told us to love each other, He told us how to do it "... just as I have loved you."

So in what ways did our Lord and Master love them?

Jesus was so very patient with them, He never shouted at them or called them names.
He would just explain again.

Often Jesus prayed for His disciples.
He cooked fish for them on the beach.
He washed their feet, ate and drank with them.
He did not judge them. But instead guided them.
The Lord provided for them, taught them, corrected them and pointed them to our Father.

There are dozens more ways Jesus proved His love for his disciples. If we stop to think about those ways we will be even more amazed at our loving Saviour, and try our best to follow in The Beautiful Steps of Christ.
"Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of all is love."

God Bless You
