USA Today - Battles Loom Over Holding Public School Graduations in Church
Yeah, it's disappointing that State institutions looking to save taxpayers a buck or two by using church facilities are faced with huge payouts in lawsuits from the American Civil Liberties Union. My American civil liberty ought to be to accept charity even if offered from a church, temple, synagogue, or mosque with whose proprietors' religious doctrinces I disagree. I don't really think there's any danger of turning a high school graduation into a baptism service.
