Poem#35 Overcome
1 John 5, Isaiah 40:31
The Disciples of Jesus walked everywhere He went
Seeing first hand the Miracles of Jesus through touch
The Miracles through the spoken Word
We might not see the physical feet of Jesus walking
But we can feel Him walking inside the receiving heart
We can still See the Miracles of Jesus in the Faith Given
Through every Miracle of Jesus by the Faith of those Believing
The Power of their Testimony grew stronger in becoming Gospel
As it’s the Good News of Jesus by which All will be Saved
The Storms we go through, the sickness, brokenness we endure
The Seed of our Faith Grows, the everlasting Presence of Jesus
Becomes the Healer we Needed as Witnesses Gather to See Him
Waiting upon the Lord will be what gives us Strength as we Rest
Upon His Wings like that of an Eagle the Power, Spirit of His Word
Trusting our Faith in Him even as we endure suffering for the Gospel
People lost in a broken dying evil world are watching us for Hope
Hearing us proclaim Belief that Jesus is the Son of God & is God
Who walks with His Disciples even 2000 years later in Our Testimony
Through the Witnesses by the power of His Water & Blood flowed
The Sins of the World have been Forgiven, Death has been defeated
We too have overcome the World by Believing Jesus is the Son of God
