Poem#28 Where we First

Poem#28 Where we First

Ephesians 2

Do we remember where we were when first awakened

By Him that knew no sin until He took our Sins as His own

Resuscitated Us through His Death for Our Sins for His Life

Jesus doesn’t care so much where we’ve been when it’s His time

Out of the Blue a voice says “do you want to hear do you want to see”

Next thing you know your in an Applebee’s or Dunkin seeing Jesus

The Lord knows not everyone will be introduced to His Grace in Church

Because Sadly He knows not everyone claiming to be His knows Grace

Because their still teaching Salvation by way of Works

Praise be to the Lord of the Sabbath who brings Church to us

Making whichever day of the week to give us the Gift of Grace

Like the Good Shepherd He is Leading His Sheep to the Well

If all that we can remember when first opening our Eyes is Jesus

Forgetting everything else, but saying Yes to Jesus that’s still Good

Because all that matters is knowing Jesus and Jesus knowing us

Testimony of how we first laid spiritual eyes on Jesus is important

Never knowing when Jesus will use it as mudd in someone’s else eyes

Leaving the Where up to Jesus when they see Him for the first time

Hello Walker;

I have thought when I was younger, before I was born it's hard to imagine, NOTHINGNESS.

But after the Lord takes me, SOMETHINGNESS.

After reading your poem, we don't think about it because we feel we have a long ways to go before our life ends, barring any accidents or illness. This could also be a trap when we don't give daily thought of Jesus.

We should. This is where we need to start reflecting our lives daily because when He returns are we going to say we knew Jesus? Can we say Jesus knew us when He goes to the Father?

Good thoughts, Kyle.

God bless you and thank you for sharing!
