Poem#27 We Live As Jesus Lives
Matthew 28
Because Jesus raised up in 3 days just like He Said
The stone that was rolled for Him was rolled for us
So that we too can fold up to let lay which bound us
Angel from Heaven was God’s messenger to say Jesus Lives
No longer do we have to be afraid or have sorrows over death
Turn those mixed emotions into joyful Praise as Jesus Is with us
Jesus unlocked the chains that sin & death bound us in
Taking our old life as we Surrendered to white cloth of linen
Jesus says to let them lay with His as the stone was rolled
Now go tell everyone that because Jesus Lives we too now Live
After believing Jesus found my death & took it as His on the Cross
Jesus used His Grace to defib me back to Life to be raised in Him
No longer do we have to be afraid of death or sorrow that held us
We’re no Longer waiting for Angels in White to Deliver the Message
We Live as Jesus Lives in us as Emmanuel so We Disciple His News
