Galatians 5
Why would anyone want to return to the chains that held them?
Don’t we understand by setting apart Grace the gift of Jesus Christ
We’re walking back towards the chains of sin that helds us captive?
We’ve been bought, we’ve been redeemed by the Grace in the Blood
Jesus set us free from the chains by the blood He paid on the Cross
We’re no longer owned by Sin or law , so walk free in the Steps of Jesus
Christ didn’t stay in the tomb He was risen to walkout on the 3rd day
Just like we’re supposed to do when our flesh dies on the Cross in Jesus
Through His Death we’re Risen in His Life a New Adoptive Son, Daughter
Now throw away the chains that once held us, embrace the Holy Spirit
Through His Love learn to walk in the Humility footsteps of Jesus Christ
By the Fruits we tasted in the way He first Loved us despite our Doubts
Taste of the Fruit of the Spirit will take away the taste of the forbidden
Through Love of Him will never want to go back to the bitterness of Sin
The sweetness of our Lord will keep drawing us back to His Love
By Grace of Jesus Christ we have been Saved so nobody can boast
Through the Fruit of His Grace through the Holy Spirit we’re taken over
The Threshold of the Gate and into the Fold that becomes His Adopted
