Poem#146 Humbled Heart

Poem#146 Humbled Heart

James 1:5-18

Don’t let the ashamed shame us from asking for help from God

Shouldn’t let someone’s else pride keep us from admitting weakness

After all we’re a flower that’s wilting in need of the Son of God

Gideon Seeking confirmation from God three times didn’t anger God

God doesn’t get up set when we’re asking for help as it gives Him Joy

God knows the areas we’re weak & as He waits patiently for us to ask

King David before battles Would pray to God asking for help in victory

King Solomon wasn’t the Warrior like David so asked God for Wisdom

Father of a possessed boy Believed Jesus as He asked help in Unbelief

Don’t let our own pride keep us from falling so far down a rabbit hole

No longer knowing which way is up, as we’re losing all hope to doubt

It’s not a matter of knowing, it’s just the matter of letting go of pride

Humbled is the heart kneeling before God seeking only Mercy & Grace

Trusting with a mustard seed of faith amongst the weeds of Pharisees

Jesus will give the Wisdom needed to Listen & not be anxious in response

Waiting upon the Lord for the hour that the Holy Spirit will come in Truth

When it’s our Time to let the Holy Spirit stand up for reading of scripture

Then sitting down giving full attention to what the Holy Spirit has to Say

Giving our full attention to God matters when we seek His face of Jesus

Walking with God in the cool of the day not of hiding our face from Him

Admitting when we’ve sinned & come with a Humbled Heart of Thanks

Hello Walker;

Your poem Poem#146 Humbled Heart should relate to many Christians who can't get past the shame of their guilt, sin, or low self esteem.

Principalities of darkness of guilt, sin, low self esteem doesn't come from God, therefore, this darkness will not bless us. It hinders us from going directly to God to confess our deepest confessions. We remain in the dark.

Many of God's servants that you mention all fell short and were put in the most undesirable places. But what was KEY was their trust in God who allowed them to release their pride and receive His forgiveness, allowing each one to get back on their feet and serve.

God's forgiveness and redeeming grace does bless us and releases us in the light.

We have work to do for the Kingdom and need that strengthened release of our shortcomings to serve Him by serving others.

God bless you, Kyle and thank you for being consistent with sharing God's Word.

It is amazing how the Holy Spirit plugs in the scriptures going with the vision of what to write and when to write,As the Holy Spirit guides us through all truth.
