Poem#145 Protection Of The Cross
Genesis 12,13, 14
How many of us have heard the call of God to go forth Promises
Yet we’re still here wondering the Land not trusting the footprints
Not seeing the footprints were walking on top of is that of the Lord’s
Wherever the Lord goes no need to stop & pack as the bags are God’s
All that we are is His, All that we have, all that He’s given is His to take
No reason to lie to anyone like Abram did about His Wife being His Sister
When the Lord God has His fingerprints on us nothing can keep us
Nobody can stop us from doing what the Lord has declared for us
We’re protected by the Blood of Christ which covers us
The places we’ve made Altars God has made Sacred to hear our Decree
Not by Our name, not by Our Will, but the Lord Jesus Christ we will pray
Even though like Abram we may never see all the promises come to pass
The most important to remember when coming against opposition
Whether it’s people dressed as Pirates in storms or people that protest
God will use Sheep herders, Servants & Dog Lappers to show us He’s God
Like Abram before us, Gideon after that came with 300 Nobody’s to Win
When God makes promises, He keeps them by the blood of Jesus Christ
We’re uniquely equipped in the Hands of the Almighty God
Next time we’re called to go forth, lets keep Our heads held high
Go forth Full of Grace & Truth being confident not in our own feet
But in the Feet we’re resting on, knowing who’s Blood Cover’s us
Everything touched by the Blood of Christ is protected by God’s Promises
For the Road well traveled through the Birth of Redemption, the Cross
Through the order of the High Priest of Melchizedek that’s Christ Forever
One day Soon & very soon will understand Jesus is the Alpha & Omega
Those called by God have been underneath the Protection of the Cross
