Poem#144 Last Sailor’s Delight
Revelation
Enjoy the sunsets while we can as the eternal clock is ticking
Those yet to understand will be blinded to the Truth as we know
However don’t lose heart, don’t cast our pearls before swine
Christ Jesus is getting ready for coming back through the clouds
Waiting for us to get back from pulling our heads out of the sand
Waiting for others to get heads out of the clouds of unrighteousness
Watch the Sunrise while we can as the Thief in the night robs us blind
Not knowing which hour the Thief struck things not even ours to keep
Spending so much time quarreling over doctrines not ours to defend
While hurting people continue being lost in finding their way back
Waiting for somebody to tell them Sins have been eternally forgiven
All thats left for them to do is Letting go their Sin & Believe the Cross
Telling the Gospel, spreading the Good News of Jesus being the Answer
After Sunrise we should be sharing the Good News with all that we can
Not knowing who’s Sunrise will be their last to Believe Jesus died for them
One day soon the Sun will rise for the last time as the Thief leaves
For the final time as nothing will be left to steal as the Sun in the sky
Will be coming down as the Last Sailor’s Delight as the Sun is taken
Behold at last the Glory of God the eternal light of Jesus Christ Rises High
Sounds of Heaven will be heard in singing of Hallelujah before His Throne
On the New Heaven & Earth as the Lion & the Lamb lay side by side
