Poem#13 Still Faithful

Genesis 27

Even when we know better & should have waited for God

Instead of taking matters into our own hands, should Trust

God at His Lasting Word to be Faithful in what He says

We’ve been following the weakness of our heart that’s abundant

Seeking the easy way in getting only to find its been the hardway

God knows what we’re going to do even before we do it

Thoughts of the heart God hears & out of the abundance He Sees

Deception & pride God wants us to get rid off & we need His Help

Humble ourselves & Be Still to know He’s God & we need Him

God knew what Rebekah & Jacob was going to do for the birthright

God also knew Jacob was going to have to learn to Trust in Him

Even when dealing with Our Hearts, God’s Still Faithful to His Word

Seven years are coming & another Seven years after that to learn

God’s using His timing to work on our Hearts to get us to wait to Trust

Waiting for us to live long enough to see God’s Still Faithful

Even when we’re faithless, God’s still Faithful to His Love for Us

Even while cleaning out our Ears, Our Hearts so we can Listen

So we can finally Hear Him Still being Faithful after all this Waiting

Good morning, Walker;

I ponder at patience in our relationship with God. It affects our trust in Him because we lose patience so we take matters into our own hands. This is a lifetime process of mistakes and success in developing patience.

I have personally witnessed how believers in other lands have all the patience in God and in each other. Lessons I can learn for myself.

At this time in my life I'm still developing the discipline of patience in the Lord and am getting there. But this is also teaching me more to trust Him.

Everything else you write is spot on. Patience entered my thoughts and am thankful God is still growing each of us and remains faithful in the process.

God bless you, Kyle, and thank you for sharing
