Poem#116 Depths And Heights
Genesis 6, 7
Mankind has climbed the tallest mountain without reaching the peak
Not talking about the tallest point, but the stories told in getting there
Risking it all without knowing the depths, the height of the flood
Long ago before Rain drops first fell to the earth was God’s tears
Being held back for the mercy & Grace showing to Noah & family
Until building of the Ark & the closing of the doors based on faith
Nobody else had such faith as we read about the wicked hearts
The unchanging minds towards holiness of God & the rain to come
Yet the Evidence on Mount Everest is clear of the Flood
Mankind has explored the depths of the oceans without reaching
The ocean floor remains unclear as reminisce of a flood is clear
The leftovers of the great flood goes through their toes in the sand
The magnitude of what God did to prepare for the fulfilling of Gen 3:15
Cleaning out the hearts of those with Enough Faith to make the Way
Through the Flood that was to be the end for new beginnings
Those that refuse to believe will make up evaluation tales of nothing
When the evidence is clear that God brought on a Flood covering Earth
Attributes of God will defend themselves as we proclaim the Gospel
