happy thanksgiving everyone

Poem#114 Thanks Lord of Sabbath

Luke 6



Be Thankful we’re following the Lord of the Sabbath with Joy

Instead of following Pharisees living as if sucking on lemons

Following hundreds of rules that doesn’t show the Love of God



So thankful for being One of those that Jesus led to water

As I’m One of those that confesses to being blind from Sin

And needed Jesus to spit & make mud for my eyes to see



Be Thankful we’re following the Lord that does Miracles because

He’s the Lord of the Sabbath & in Him we find Rest & so much more

We can use what little faith we have & will find Rest in Jesus



So thankful for being One of those that Jesus said get up & Walk

As I’m One of those that confesses to being a lame begger with Sin

And needed Jesus to stand up for me in healing me with Forgiveness



Be Thankful we’re following Lord of the Sabbath that breaks rules

Showing the Pharisees above everything were to show mercy & Love

By the Grace of Jesus we’ve been healed, forgiven & Saved by Blood



So Thankful for Jesus dying on the Cross & being One that Believed

As I’m One of those that confesses to needing lowered as I was Dead

And needed to be Raised with Jesus Who Brought me back to Life



Thanks Lord of the Sabbath in helping me to leave the old life behind

No longer do we leave the way we came in, we’re Healed, Forgiven

So Thankful in walking out of the Old & walking as a New Creation

Hope you had a great thanksgiving too Bob, and yes we have come along way, currently working on getting my second book of the first poetry written on audible and working with the producer doing the reading. He asked for a date besides 04, poem written 19 years ago, I’m thinking how should I remember that . I tell this story because of you being around since the beginning or close enough.
