"Palm Sunday"

I give it a little while longer. Remember..... this is the most amazing prophecy in the Bible.

Think......"Palm Sunday" and what is actually was and WHO saw it coming to the EXACT DAY!

Yes......Daniel. Now can you post the chapter and verse/verses?
There you go again, yawwn, is it here?

And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war. Desolations are decreed.
(Dan 9:26)

I still like...

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
(Zec 9:9)
...for Palm Sunday.

You got it!

Daniel 9:24-26...........
"Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined."

Palm Sunday is the day that Jesus entered Jerusalem through the "Sheep Gate" and presented Himself to the nation of Israel as their Messiah.

The people laid Palm branches in front of Him to walk on and 5 days latter demanded that He be killed.

Matthew 21:8.........
"And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way."

Matthew 21:10.....
"And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?"

Now for Daniel's prophecy. His words were written 500 years before Palm Sunday. The order to go and rebuild Jerusalm happened on March 14, 445 B.C.

Daniel said that after 69 weeks (483 prophectic years) which is exactly 173, 880 days, the Messiah would be "Cut off". The day of Palm Sunday when Jesus presented Himself as the Messiah of Israel was on April 6, 33 A.D. which is exactly to the day 173,880 days!!!!

The one about the King of Israel riding in on a Donkey?

I agree that could be one of many . I would think it is the most informant. It would aply to the cerimoinal law as a shdow that pointed ahead. Jesus fullfilled it giving Glory to the unseen Father.
