I agree, Michael. I've commented on how amazing that is on here once or twice. Still, I want to be armed to the teeth with the Word if I can be!
I'll give you two things that gave me what wisdom I have today. It was not study time either.
If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
(Joh 7:17)
Being sold out to God is number one, and the biggest reason so many are confused about scriptures. If God tells you to move, you move, if He ask you to sow all the money in your account, no problem. If God knows that no matter what he tells you, you will do. Then Jesus said I will manifest myself to you.
we have lots of believers, that are not sold out, would not even think of changing a Job if the Lord asked or staying at a job, skipping a higher paid one. Hence they stay confused.
Ephesian prayer:
I spoke this over myself 2 or 3 times a day for a few years.
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,
may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
(Eph 1:16-21)
Those are the two things I did.
