Intellectual Dishonesty

This is indeed a VERY broad topic, given that our modern culture, as is true of all other cultures throughout human history, does/has have examples of gross intellectual dishonesty.

Focusing in on modern events within which are absolute portrayals of politicized, intellectual dishonesty is the Israel situation with Hamas. As the following video discusses, some 2000 sociologists "signed off" on the idea that Israel is the violator for doing whatever it takes to defend herself, even when it involves the collateral damage losses of civilian lives, behind whom the enemy Hamas lurks about in cowardice...operating under the guise of "The End Justifies the Means." In all historic wars, this practice by Hamas was subject to war crimes tribunals, but the media is not calling for such justice brought to bear against Hamas and its leader who is well within reach of the White House having him rounded up and tried!

The following video is a discussion about a grouping of intellectuals who have chosen the path of dishonesty on the basis of politicized ideology! Politics seems to corrupt all that it touches in these modern times of ours.

Such ideological groups are not being intellectually dishonest. They know fully well that they are the instruments of the devil, and they don't care.

Well, I tend to see that as falling within the definition if intellectual dishonesty. To be cognizant enough to possess an uncaring attitude, there has to be an awareness of there being another side to the topic of interest.
