Happy birthday to me!
Well that’s it, I’ve reached that age,
Three score and ten
It’s all God promised?
Is it down hill from now on?
l identify as sixteen with
fifty four years experience under me belt?
My mind thinks I’m forty but my body says something else
People won’t believe Im
Seventy and be fooled with my illusion of youth
but it’s how many years God’s granting me now I’m living by grace
Am I going to decline into dotage?
Shall I grow old disgracefully
Go out with a bang!
Arrive at gates of heaven
skidding broad side, hair akimbo thoroughly use up?
