God's Wonderful Spring
It is now the beginning of spring
The morning sky is a wonderful blue
I'm wondering what else will it bring
The grass is now green covered with dew.
Forget-me-nots and pretty bluebells
Tulips behind them sway in soft breeze
Gardens all colours and beautiful smells
I hear the deep buzz of busy bees.
Blossom covering the apple tree
Blackbirds nest on the branches
Singing sweet songs and looking at me
His girlfriend knows he romances.
Daytime is closing the sun hides away
Aroma of lavender fills the air
Mr hedgehog peeps out for a play
Now that the weather is warm and fair.
Thank you to our Lord up above
For creating a world filled with love.
