Gale Zara?

Gale Zara?

The wind woke me in the middle of the night, snuggling under the blankets and wrote this in my mind couldn’t wait for morning to write it down

Gale Zara?

They called it ‘Gale Zara’
Trying to explain away,
The mighty storm force wind covering the land,
100 mile an hour gusts recorded at the top of Capel Curig
Sweeping down the valleys
Into every nook and cranny
No place missed, every one felt its power.

Some said don’t worry it’ll
Blow it self out
Others went out to embrace its powers
Others hid away fearful of the consequences of this mighty storm’s power
Others longed for that gentle summer breeze that only was just able to caress one’s cheek
And not disturb the flowers

The trail of destruction was great
Dead wood and detritus didn’t stand a chance
As it blew
Clearing out all but was good
Till only the faithful stood
Come, Holy Spirit Come,
Cover this land
With your Holy Spirit power!

Hello Alan;

Was Gale Zara a name that came up in your dream? I've had names, Scripture and words in my dreams. I wanted to write them down but it was hard to remember clearly.

The poem is directed at the Holy Spirit but it had a flavor of mystery.

God bless you, brother.
