If children grow and mature within the family where their father and mother genuinely love each other, these children will also be able to manifest that same kind of love. How do children know what love is? Many believe that children learn what love is because they are recipients of love directed toward them from their parents. This is misleading because when young children have love directed toward them they do not know what it is. They learn what love is when they see the love their father gives their mother, and when the mother direct her love toward the father. Before this manifestation of father – mother love, children cannot understand what love is, even when it is directed toward them.
After they see the love that is manifested between father and mother, then they are capable of receiving the love given to them. So it is with the believer who is in Christ. If God directed his love toward the believer that believer would not know what it was nor could he receive it. When the believe sees (knows) the Father love the Son and the Son love the Father, then he becomes the recipient of that love. The Father loveth the Son, therefore the Father loves everyone that is been born again because this places them "in Christ," where the love of God exists. Because we are in Christ the Father loves us also. Outside of Christ the Father loves no one. The Father has never looked outside His Son for anything especially to manifest His love.
