ENOUGH of the Gloom-n-Doomers

The rhetoric from the gloom-n-doomers continues to this very day, unabated, and it's getting really old!

Famous voices out there continue to lay claim to the West, and America in particular, is doomed and under judgement.

Folks, I'd like to draw your attention to Genesis 18 when Abraham bargained with the Lord, which got down to there being found only ten righteous in a city, and the Lord promised to spare the city. That was ten out of...thousands.

How many righteous are there in America and western Europe, et al? In America alone there are still hundreds of thousands who are among the righteous, and these dooms-dayers vomit their rhetoric of God's doom, as if THEY were the ones sitting on His Throne!

Well, the Lord sees us out here fighting the good fight, and I offer this to you as just one of many encouragements to the fact that the gates of Hell have NOT prevailed against the Church!

Remember that in your prayer time pleadings before the Lord as the basis for your faith in the Lord being today as He was then...the very Lord who said that He does not change!

Malachi 3:6 For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

All who are in Christ are the spiritual offspring of Jacob - Israel.

I'd like to support your thread, ENOUGH of the Gloom-n-Doomers

The good Mayor in this video was holding the board of education accountable for distributing child pornography in the classroom. This is a good example of the good fight.

I also don't like what I'm hearing of the famous voices and seeing the smug of celebratory on stage. They fill simple minds with one constant thought after another with no remedy.

Lets encourage others who struggle with this to go beyond limited thinking and dig deeper in study, knowledge, increased wisdom and discernment into deeper study of prayer and the Bible. God encourages us to fight the good fight with love, gentleness and respect, but many things, like the gospel, equip us and are worth fighting for.

Please read and meditate these Scriptures;

Ephesians 5:6-10, 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for it is because of these things that the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not associate with them, 8 for once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), 10 and try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. - RSV

1 Peter 5:10, 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. - KJV

John 16:33, 33 These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” - NASB
