Creation is waiting for us

Romans 8:16-21

16The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. 17Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

18I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. 20For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

I find it really encouraging that the work God is doing in us now .. in Christ .. will be done to the whole creation . . it's kinda like .. we become co-heirs with Christ .. and creation .. gets brought into the same promise of newness and glory that we will receive as first fruits . resurrection rocks!!

Father, through your indwelling Holy Spirit show us through what you do through us .. what we can do to redeem the decaying creation now . do the impossible, increase our trust in you, and then do the impossible again, In Jesus name, Amen .

Amen Michael .

A very good revelation . As creation renews itself through the changes in seasons , we too need to have a renewal of of minds by submitting each day to Christ and the reading of His Word.

Romans 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

2 Corinthians 8:1For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 4For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

This corruptible body groans for the day it will be changed into a glorious body like the Lord. The whole earth groans and longs for that day.

1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Romans 8:11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

He shall quicken our mortal bodies and this corruptible will put on incorruption.
