Bricks and Mortar

Laying bricks upon another,
Mortar in between;
One stone placed upon the other -
Realization of a dream.

Built according to design,
Blueprint at the ready;
Guided by each dot and line
Progression's sure and steady.

Though storms and setbacks interfere,
Or funds run very low;
The workers need to persevere,
Though the going might seem slow.

Sharing in God's dream design,
The Bible as our guide;
Trials meant to mold, refine;
Draw us closer to His side.

Each new lesson is a brick,
God's will the strong cement;
His Word is our measuring stick
Which nobody may bend.

Jesus Christ our sure foundation -
Our ever steady Rock;
Lord of all; King of Creation -
Overseer of His flock.​

Hello paidforinfull;

Bricks and Mortar from 2010. At that time we were praying and fasting God's vision to plant His church. We read and meditated on several Scriptures and sought counsel from seasoned church planters.

Proverbs 15:22, 22 Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed.

Proverbs 16:1-3, 1 The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. 2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. 3 Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.

We were excited but the bricks and mortar came slowly. We had to remain still and quiet as our God went ahead. By September 2011 we launched our first worship service. In 2021 we celebrated our 10th year, and in 2022 we are serving in our 11th year.
