Would Jesus be welcome

In our church today?

Would He be proud with what he saw?

Would He approve with what’s going on?

Would He join in with the liturgical ritual...

Or would He want to sing a new song?

Would He want make faith a reality?

Make Christianity fun?

Jesus was good at parties...

turning water into wine!

Raising the dead, healing the sick

Taking time out for the young,

Would Jesus want to join

Our congregation?

Or would He be off

Down the working men’s club?
 
Hello brother Alan;

BahHumbug surely needs pondering. Just when I feel I know Jesus I have to stop and catch myself at the ongoings in our / my daily lives. What would Jesus do?
