Alphabet Soup Garden Varieties

sprinkle my heart with a little magic
while I giggle with the moon dust and stars,
let me forget about all stuff tragic
as I try to catch lightening bugs in jars,

I will set them free as I do delight
in the bright glow that they wish to provide,
kinda like the heavens I watch at night
we come and go away in this life's ride,

don't know why it fascinates me so much
these little things with many overlooks,
like how my phone now needs a harder touch
and I don't like to read text but love books,

small in the grandeur of the milky way
spellbound by sparkles a prison of love,
these trivial thoughts now float far away
forever captured by the sky above~
What a beautiful picture woven through those words💕

Are we paying attention, and listening to subtle instructions? -OR- Do we need a swift kick? Take heed...

Mark 13:23- But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

Mark 13:33- Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

Luke 11:35- Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.

Mark 13:5- And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you.

1 Corinthians 10:12- Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Luke 17:3- Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

Hebrews 2:1- Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

Hebrews 3:12- Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

Luke 12:15- And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

1 Timothy 1:4- Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

Matthew 18:10- Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

the thirsty earth seems to sip our tears
like it craves mankind's darkest sorrows
soaking them deep within its soil
wishing to grow further misfortunes
eating our anguish for a fast food supper
down into the farthest reaches of doom
retched muddy messes of mayhem
as though consumed by hell bound sins

but or Father in heaven shines His light
big bright boldly upon the dirtiest of deeds
turning them from wrath into kind goodness
as His seeds planted germinate slowly
sprouting forth unknown stems then leaves
growing into large forests standing firm
upon His foundations now watered with love
now a testimony to the changes He can make

might we spring forward like His flowers
upon the branches of His greatest tree~

1. “Love is not affectionate feeling, but a steady wish for the loved person’s ultimate good as far as it can be obtained”
2. “Do not waste time bothering whether you “love” your neighbor; act as if you did. As soon as we do this we find one of the great secrets. When you are behaving as if you loved someone you will presently come to love him.”
3. “Affection is responsible for nine-tenths of whatever solid and durable happiness there is in our lives”
4. “Have you not seen that in our days Of any whose story, song or art delights us, our sincerest praise Means, when all’s said, ‘You break my heart?”
5. “Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: “What! You too? I thought I was the only one.”
6. “Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art…. It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things which give value to survival.”
7. “What draws people to be friends is that they see the same truth. They share it.” – C. S. Lewis

as Christians we are not able
to solve the worlds problems
that might not seem so fair
for our Father has His unknown plans
and on this earth there is violence
which we will not see the end of
no matter how much we pray
we shall never be that perfect
therefore due diligence is a good effort
this might not bring us happiness
but God himself see us trying
and that does bring me peace
scripture is full of enough diversity
even if my brain finds some of it illogical
I never use it to justify bad behavior
but let it sink into my heart slowly
as these words create an evolution of soul
that spark the deepest debates within
as I passionately choose to explore them
and get closer to the truths I understand
which our Father wishes to reveal
in the name of His Son Jesus Christ

Amen.

Yanno while I sit here clicking away at little letters on a keyboard,
I do think to myself as to what happens to people that read me?
Ive had so many over the years, as sites come and go.
Some evolve into different places, and delete the forum sides.
Others, get new owners and change completely then lose all posters.
Most simply cant pay their fees and are lost to the cyberland of digits.
I still sit here and think of the many personalities presented.
The ones that gave me their input and posted along with me.
How I managed to get to know such a personally intimate side of them,
but not know anything much else about who they were.
I miss some of their banter, and exchange of life events.
Poetic exchange was always a gift to behold, like candy for my heart.
How I could spend so many years posting with a group of people?
For them to just go poof from this place known as the internet, bites.
Ive been posting poetry since 2008.

I wish you all well, my former internet connections wherever you went.
The ones that managed to remain and occasionally shoot me an email,
thank you for the kindness. Even though Ive met so few of you,
you do add sunshine when I read a message out of the blue.
Glad you still take the time to read me :)

we all have periods of stagnation in our walk
when we feel like we are at a spiritual standstill
but we are not frozen between forward and backward
there is always a greater plan even if we dont see it
to summon our fortitude and remain silently in prayer
might give us the complex answers we diligently seek
as the desire to change things quickly creates conflict
for sometimes it is better to take shelter within
knowing our integrity and faith is a worthy vehicle
to propel us wherever (and whenever) we need to be :)

-Amen
