Our spiritual health is dependent on a good diet of God's word.

Christ's temptation happened before he had even called any of his disciples, so Christ must have told his disciples of his being tempted by Satan in the wilderness. In the telling he was also teaching his disciples the importance of maintaining our spiritual health.
