Wages Of Sin?

Au contraire:

Revelation 2:11 (KJV)
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Revelation 20:6 (KJV)
Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 20:14 (KJV)
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Revelation 21:8 (KJV)
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Two deaths; physical and spiritual.

Sorry I don't see anything here but physical death.

What do you mean, "IF man is body + spirit = soul"? In what alternative universe does it not? Read it for yourself in the original: "God formed man of the Dust of the ground, breathed into his nostrils the Breath of Life and Dust of the ground became a Living Soul." Genesis 2:7

Adam and Eve didn't die the day they sinned b/c lambs died in their place - lambs which pointed to the "Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." God's Spirit which He breathes into His lifeless creatures to animate them is not subject to death - it returns to Him upon the death of His creatures. The expression "spiritual death" has nothing to do with the death any spirit, it is simply a phrase meaning "fallen nature". You sound like you have a Jonah complex - all disappointed b/c God was merciful to the sinners.
Well, I can see you are unable to come to the knowledge of the truth no matter what scriptures are presented to you even when Jesus himself said it was with our spirit, soul, and body we love God. Your religion is not according to truth. I really believe you need to ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart, and then you will be able to understand Holy Scriptures. If you don,t know how to do this, I will show you. Notice it is with the heart (spirit) that we believe, not soul, or mind

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

In the English, "soul" refers to the person, as in "S.O.S." = Save Our Souls....or "All souls on deck!" meaning all persons report on deck. But the actual soul of a person is the seat of the mind, will and emotions---the personality of the individual and is separate from the body and the spirit of the person.

No lambs died in Adam and Eve's place that pointed to Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, but blood was spilled in the killing of an unknown animal whose skin was used to cover their nakedness.
I say Lamb skins b/c fig leaves are a symbol of self righteousness which bears no fruit, as in the tree Jesus cursed. The reason God gave them skins was to show "without the shedding of blood their is no remission", and it is extremely unlikely that God chose anything but lambs to cover their nakedness. In any case, the innocent victims bore the sentence for Adam and Eve.

You cant seem to even understand the context of this discussion? How will you understand the things that are reserved for the righteous and spiritual?
I don't need to weave ingenious webs and invent subtle theories to translate black as white, friend. Genesis 2:7 says body + breath = living soul. It does NOT say that God combined a body, spirit, and a soul to make man. Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death which Jesus suffered for us. It does NOT say it is eternal torment, which He did not suffer. Keep on inventing and weaving, bro.

You have no understanding of these issues and should really stop pretending you do.

Don't insult me, bro. I serve the living God Who said, "If ye love Me, KEEP My commandments." In '06, I was fired from my $125,000/ year job for refusing to break His Ten Commandments. In '08, He honored my faithfulness with a promotion and full back pay to that same corporation, but the lessons He taught me, my wife, and children on His trustworthyness are priceless, praise His name.

I understand enough to know that Jesus didn't experience eternal torment.
How do you know how God accounted what He suffered? Your not the one who decides when the price for sin is paid By Christ..Or how the Father decided to account the wages of sin that He suffered... You don't seem to have even a basic understanding of the gospel.

Your just self-righteous...any Pharisee would brag about the same thing!

You seem to over look even the obvious in your religion. How does one become a new creation in Christ? Does he not go from death to life in a second, or does it take 930 years? Are those who are not saved dead right now, and yet they are living. How someone can go from life to death as Adam and Eve did in a second seems to just bypass your thinking! There is no Wisdom against God.

It is easy enough to see the symbolism with animal skins. It is folklore that depicts fig leaves. However, lambs are not mentioned, and so we must be careful not to fill in gaps with our own concoctions.
