As a Broadway lover, I have actually been thinking of the Left Behind series, both kids and adult versions, each being turned into a musical (though it's not likely to happen).
I could see Dr. Rosenzweig and Nicolae Carpathia singing a sing-off duet similar to "The Plagues" from The Prince of Egypt.
Carpathia could have a song with his top gang where he sings the main melody and his top gang could harmonize.
Buck and Chloe could sing a love duet.
In the kids version, the four original members of the Young Trib Force could each sing the main melody and the other three could harmonize in each different song.
Those are just random ideas, though. It's not likely to happen, but if it did, any other ideas for a musical number?
