It's for baptists who don't really know who God is and want to write big long papers about it in special colleges, methinks.
Your post tells us that you have no idea what Baptist theology is.
But since you do not seem to know, allow me to say that there are several kinds of "Baptists". There are there the Free Will Baptists, the Independent Baptists as well as Hard Shell Baptists. There is also the Southern Baptist denomination which is exclusive to the others.
Then, just so that you will know the next time, there are several things that will help your understanding:
• Baptists do not insist that everyone should accept Christ to be saved.
• Southern Baptists directly say that people "must" believe in Christ or should face an eternity in Hell and are baptizes after accepting Christ.
• Baptists do not believe in free will.
• Southern Baptists believe in free will.
• Predestination is accepted by both groups but at different levels.
• Baptists allow women to be ordained as Pastors.
• Southern Baptists only allow men to be ordained.
• Baptists are open towards the idea of same sex couples.
• Southern Baptists are strongly against the idea of same sex couples.
• Baptists do not demand the religion to have powers separate from the state.
• Southern Baptists demand that the church should be a completely separate entity from the state.
