Tropical Storm Lorenzo Information, 27 September 2007, 18:00 Hrs CDT-USA

Tropical Storm Lorenzo formed from Tropical Depression # 13 located in the western Gulf of Mexico. Lorenzo ia only 100 miles off the east central Mexican coast moving due west at 5 MPH. This storm will likely attain Catagory 1 Hurricane status within 6 hours and come ashore as a minimal hurricane.

No US coastal areas will be involved in this Tropical System, but Mexican authorities have Tropical Storm Warnings posted throughout east central coastal Mexico.

Because of the close proximity to the Mexican coast and landfall is near, this will be our only Named Storm "Lorenzo" information post.
