As a member of a Weather Analysis Group headquartered in Baldwin County, Alabama, I have posted Tropical System and Hurricane Advisories in 7 Forums and websites since 2002. From late May to Late November, our amateur group studies and tracks Tropical Systems and has been able to provide slightly greater accuracy than that of most professional weather services. Our advisories are UNOFFICIAL and the disclaimer at the bottom of this posting is included in all of the posts that will be found here in the Tropical Systems area of the forum during Hurricane Season.

The color coding of the top header text in each posting gives an indication of severity:

BLACK Text is a general advisory with no current Tropical System threat to life or property.

RED Text is an advisory of high risk to US coastal areas and personal safety.

BLUE Text is for a lessening of threat or post event recaps.
