  1. That is because of Federal Headship. Adam was the head of Eve as the husband. Both in Scripture and Tradition when this sin is referred to formally by name it is called the “Sin of Adam” or “Adam’s Sin.” It is also described as coming to us “through one man” not “through Adam and Eve” or “through a man and a woman.”

You know as well as I do that Adam was responsible there for he was to blame. But what does Genesis 3:6 actually say?
"So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate."

This verse makes it clear that Eve was the first to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God had told Adam not to eat from the tree, but Eve also had knowledge of this. Adam ate but only after Eve

  2. "Law". I have posted the verses now about 20 times and you want me to do it again? WHY?

    Ephesians 5:23 ..................
"For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. "

    Ephesians 5:23 ...............
"For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. "

    1 Timothy 3:1-16 -........
"This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work."

    1 Peter 3:1 ................
    "
Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives".

  3. Is the Holy Spirit somehow giving different understanding to different people concerning the same thing, or do you think that some just do not accept the written Word of God as valid and authoritative?

  4. The husband as head is in the context of source or origin only. It is a misappropriation of a Greek word and applying a false concept that is the problem...a big one, here!

  5. No He isn't. The variance comes from applied human understanding that overrides what the entire volume if the book actually communicates about God and how He really values and employs women.

Cultural influence runs counter to the truth. It is powerful, and the devil continues to use what works.

  6. My dear brother. The bottom line here we are talking about is the cry of those who are pressing the feminist agenda is that the church in the past has restricted women in roles of leadership and worship simply because of culture and flawed hermeneutical principles. You and Euphemia seem to be saying that we are the product of a male-dominated society and have consequently misconstrued the contextual meaning of the relevant biblical passages. Why do you suppose that this has not been the case for 1900 years but now it is an issue? What would be that cause????

In their quest to maintain relevance among the shifting sands of secular culture, it is my opinion and nothing more that an opinion that many people have imbibed the spirit of the age, and been infected by humanistic philosophy, and consequently have compromised the clear teaching of Scripture on the role of women. As feminism has grown so has their demand to restructure the Scriptures.

As attitudes soften and biblical conviction weakens, Scripture is being reinterpreted to allow for expanded roles for women in worship. However, Paul states that women are not to exercise spiritual authority over men because Adam was created before Eve. Here we are given the heart and core of God’s will concerning how men and women are to function and interrelate.

  7. Not so!

Notice Paul elaborates on this principle in 1 Timothy 2:14 by noting an example of what can happen when men and women tamper with God’s original intentions. When Eve took the spiritual initiative above her husband, and Adam failed to take the lead and exercise spiritual authority over his wife, Satan was able to wreak havoc on the home and cause the introduction of sin into the world.

When Paul said the woman was deceived, he was not suggesting that women are more gullible than men. Rather, when men or women fail to confine themselves to their created function, but instead tamper with and act in violation of divinely intended roles, spiritual vulnerability to sin naturally follows.

  8. That's your cultural influence talking!!

  9. I praise God, HE is God and not man.
I praise God, that Mary sat at Jesus feet listening and learning from the Messiah, Martha came complaining, "have her help me, who am I to serve all of you." Jesus said, "Mary has chosen the better part, and it will not be taken from her."

Jesus spoke carnal parables to teach us spiritual manifestations.
Praise God, women are sitting at the feet of Jesus, being taught of the Holy Ghost, the only true Teacher.
If one will not receive me, (because my flesh is in woman form), it is not me you have not received, but HIM who sent me.

All praise, glory and honor be unto God. Amen

  10. LOL...yea, that it!

  11. Culture still bears the impact of the misogynistic Greek and Roman Empires...it carries over into the churches if people aren't vigilant...and they have missed the mark on that score!

The enemy of God has been very successful in halving the workforce of the Body of Christ. Those who are free in this area have now more work to do to dispel ignorance and to make up for the lack of obedience to the callings of Christ on His people.

The army of God has gaps in its formation because of this pernicious mindset about women.

  12. Just because man was created first does not give man a superior place in the body of Christ. If it was not for women man would not even exist as he is born from women.
So, that line of thinking is irrelevant.

  13. The New Testament is not the "law". The law was is in the first five books of the Bible. Where in the Old Testament does it forbid women not to speak?

Brother you are forgetting the fact Adam disobeyed God when he did NOT protect the garden in which God placed him. God placed Adam in the garden to "keep it"
which means to guard and protect. What do you call it, when someone does not do what God tells them to do? That is called "sin". Therefor he that knows to do good and does not do it to him it is sin."

Adam's disobedience was not in only doing what God told him not to do, but also in his disobedience in not doing what God told him to do. They are both called "disobedience", and they are both sin!!

  16. Thank you! May God bless you and keep you in the palm of His hand!

  17. God doesn't grant repentance. He grants forgiveness.

  18. God has set ministers in His garden to protect, water, cultivate, nurture....
I wonder through some peoples ideologies, if this is being done in your church?
Sounds like women are still looked upon as the weaker vessel, and not worthy to hear from God; and even if they should, SHUT UP, don't you speak a word!!! You have not hindered women or God, but yourself. God may have had a wonderful blessing for you and the entire church; but you would not receive her, because you have not received HIM who sent her.
Oh, how strong is the strong arm of man in the strong hold?
Jesus is called the bridegroom. How is a male the bride? The groom has come, and rose; here comes His bride, all dressed in White. She is clothed in the Light, and darkness is under her feet and she wears a crown of twelve stars upon her head. She comes forth in the Lord and HE leads and guides her, even unto death; because the hearts of men are evil and loved darkness rather than light.
All praise, glory and honor be unto God. Amen

  19. If it is not important, then why did God create Adam 1st! It is revelant my friend you just do not accept it.

Adam was the head of the woman just as Christ is head of the church. This is not about superiority in the body of Christ.
I have made that abundantly clear my brother.

It is and has been about Headship from the very beginning. Why the woman should be in subjection to the man; not so much because he was made before her; for so were the beasts of the field before Adam; and yet this gave them no superiority to him; but because she was made out of him, and made for him.

  20. Again, the man (husband) is the head of the women (wife), but not in the Lord he is not for there is no male or female in Christ. No man is ever the head of a women except in marriage.
