Woe unto those that desire the day of the LORD. To what end is it for them?

Men can not use the same mouth to bless God (saying “Lord, Lord”) and curse men and expect to live to see the coming age in this earth. We MUST hear His commandment to have love for one another and DO it.

The “dead”…..those who are “dead” in their trespasses and sins…hear the gospel but are judged according to men IN THE FLESH so that their spirits may be saved. Men speak evil of us because we do not “run” with them after their church things. They speak evil of us when we do not keep their doctrines and commandments of men. They speak evil of us when we do not keep company with them in their churches.

1 Peter 4:4-7 KJV
(4) Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
(5) Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
(6) For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

The “end of all things” is ALWAYS at hand for ALL of us for our lives are very transitory here. The end of all things is always very near to us all so we are to be “sober” and “watch unto prayer”. We are to remember to ALWAYS do His will and not forget. We are to use our breath to speak words always being seasoned with kindness, grace, peace, love (real “prayer”). Our breath is to be used with meekness and kindness always. this is "prayer" that we always keep God in mind when we speak words with the tongue.

(7) But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue. The "poor" in breath use "intreaties"...that is, PRAYER...as they use their breath in meekness ...kindness... to always have their conversations with others according to His will (being seasoned always with grace and peace). Not so with the "rich" as they answer roughly.

Proverbs 18:21-24 KJV
(21) Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
(22) Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.
(23) The poor useth intreaties; but the rich answereth roughly.
(24) A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

For if we continue to speak evil of others (sowing according to the flesh), we shall die. We are judged as men in the flesh (as God made coats of “skin” and clothed Adam and his wife). Our sins are made manifest in our mortal flesh as we decay away to the grave so that our spirits may be saved.

Genesis 3:21-23 KJV
(21) Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
(22) And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever
:

We are given over to a rejected mind to be filled with all unrighteousness if we continue to sow after the flesh. It will bring us trouble and our bodies will decay away (“aging”) until we die.

(23) Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

This is why Solomon wrote to us to remember our Creator in the days of our youth before the “evil days” of decay come near to our mortal bodies and we shall have no pleasure in those coming days.

Ecclesiastes 12:1-8 KJV
(1) Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
(2) While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:

The “keepers of the house”…..the hands tremble. The “strong men” are the legs which bow themselves. The “grinders” are the teeth which cease because they are few. The “windows” are the eyes which grow dim.

(3) In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,
(4) And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;
(5) Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:
(6) Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.

If we forget to keep His commandments, then our mortal bodies will decay and then we eventually die …the dust returns to the earth as it was….so that the spirit may be saved. The breath…the spirit…shall return unto God who gave it. The life of Jesus is never made manifest in our mortal flesh when we do not do His will and so we perish (decay) and die so that the spirit may be saved.

(7) Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
(8) Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.

We are to keep His sacrifice always in our lives. When we bear about the dying of our Lord in our bodies, then His life shall be made manifest in our mortal flesh so that we may display the appearing glory of God to this dark, decaying world.

2 Corinthians 4:7-11 KJV
(7) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
(8) We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
(9) Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
(10) Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
(11) For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

We are to keep the Passover with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. We are not to company with those who are called “brothers” but are covetous. We become ONE FLESH with them when we do and we decay along with them to the grave. The flesh is destroyed so that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord that comes to take us away from the earth.

1 Corinthians 5:7-10 KJV
(7) Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
(8) Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
(9) I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
(10) Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.

We are to keep the true Passover and walk in love with each other as Christ also has loved us and had given Himself for us….

Ephesians 5:1-3 KJV
(1) Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
(2) And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

But we can NOT keep company with those who are covetous. They will lead us astray from the keeping of the “daily sacrifice” of having love for one another and will set up the “abomination of desolation”…..covetousness.

(3) But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

We are to keep the true Passover….

Exodus 12:21-25 KJV
(21) Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.
(22) And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

…so that the destroyer of our mortal flesh does not come to our “houses” ( our MORTAL BODIES) to smite us. The outside world is being judged by God as the mortal bodies of men are decaying away as they go about their business. His wrath IS REVEALED from heaven upon all men.

(23) For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

We are to continually observe this thing (having love for one another)…. “for ever”…unto the coming age….

(24) And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.

…for we are looking forward to a new earth (the home of righteousness). We shall live to see it for we shall have “eternal life” as the life of Jesus shall be made manifest in our mortal flesh. The destroyer will not come to smite our mortal bodies and so we shall continue to ABIDE in this earth.

(25) And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.

The Lord judges the world ALREADY for His wrath IS REVEALED (the "FIRE") from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. Their mortal bodies are decaying away to the grave. Their flesh is not being saved because of ungodliness.

Romans 1:17-19 KJV
(17) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
(18) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
(19) Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

He turns man to the destruction of his flesh so that they may RETURN to Him. The “destruction” is the “crushing” of our mortal bodies back to the dust from where we were taken from. We suffer decay in our mortal bodies ( “aging”) so that we might return back to Him. He smites us for our sins in our “houses” so that we might remember Him and DO His will.

Psalms 90:1-11 KJV
(1) A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
(2) Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
(3) Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of me
n.

He is patient with us not wanting ANY to perish but come to repentance…to change our minds about these things.

(4) For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
(5) Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.

Our mortal bodies are like the grass. In the “morning” of our lives, it flourishes and grows up but in the evening it is cut down and withers. Let us not forget to DO His will and keep the “morning” of our lives. If we forget…the “evening”, then we are cut down and we wither away to the grave.

(6) In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.

His wrath IS REVEALED from heaven upon our mortal bodies. Our days are passing away IN HIS WRATH NOW....as the current heavens and earth are stored NOW with "fire" unto the judgment and destruction of all ungodly men and unrighteousness.

(7) For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.
(8) Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.
(9) For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.

Maybe we live to 70 or by reason of strength unto 80, but the quality of life of those later years is sorrowful. The “evil days” will come in which we shall not find pleasure in as our mortal bodies gives us trouble upon troubles. The mortal body is soon cut off and we fly away back to God. We suffer the destruction of the flesh so that our spirits are saved for we go back to God.

(10) The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
(11) Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath
.

The current heavens and earth which are now are stored with fire NOW against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. This is a NOW thing for His wrath is being REVEALED upon us all as we are DECAYING in our mortal bodies because of our sins. It is as a FIRE that destroys us from off this earth so that our spirits may be saved. We are consumed from off this earth in the “fire” of His wrath upon us. Let us enter into His REST now and not abide in His wrath by DOING His will.

2 Peter 3:7-18 KJV
(7) But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
(8) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day
.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise but is long suffering toward all of us. He is not willing that any should perish but that ALL should come to repentance.

(9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The “day of the Lord” will come for each of us as a thief in the night if we do not come to repentance. We are to return to Him and enter into His rest NOW so that we are not destroyed in the flesh.

The heavens shall come near to us (“pass away”) with a “great noise”. The heavens shall come to take us away as a chariot’s wheels that make a whirring sound come to get us. We shall leave this earth for everything shall be burnt up. Our bodies shall go back to the dust from where it came from and all of our works shall be left behind. We, ourselves, shall be saved but we suffer loss.

(10) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing that all of these things shall be dissolved in that manner, we are to remember to DO His will. We ought to be behaving in all holy conversation and godliness because the wrath of God IS REVEALED from heaven….the fire. This is a NOW thing for the current heavens and earth are NOW stored with fire against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. The “day of the Lord” comes for ungodly men as He cuts them down from the earth as grass and they wither away to the grave and their spirits go back to Him.

(11) Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

But we are looking for a new heaven and a new earth….one that does not store fire for our destruction. We must DO His will in order to enter NOW into His rest. The heavens which are currently stored with fire ….the wrath of God… shall be dissolved because we enter into His rest NOW.

(12) Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
(13) Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
(14) Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
(15) And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
(16) As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Let us not be led away with those who deceive us. Let us not be led away to the destruction of the flesh by the error of the wicked who know not why they are stumbling into the grave. they are wresting the Scriptures unto their own destruction of the flesh and are leading many away down that broad path with them.

(17) Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
(18) But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

For the LORD will come with fire and with His chariots like a “whirlwind”….the sound of whirring. The heavens shall come near to us to take us away from this earth. He will render His anger with fury and His rebuke with flames of fire. His wrath IS REVEALED from heaven upon us. By fire and by sword does He plead with ALL FLESH. He is not willing that any perish from this earth but come to repentance.

Isaiah 66:15-16 KJV
(15) For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
(16) For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

The “day of the Lord” will come to take us away. The heavens will come near to us with a “whirring” sound…a great noise…by a whirlwind. Our spirits will be saved as we are taken away from off this earth.

2 Kings 2:11-12 KJV
(11) And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
(12) And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.

We must DO His will for all of men’s works are and shall be made manifest. If our mortal bodies are burned up from this earth, then the “DAY” has declared what manner of work it was. Where are the early church founders? They are gone from this earth and so we must know that their works do not save anyone.

1 Corinthians 3:12-17 KJV
(12) Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
(13) Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
(14) If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward
.

If we are not doing His will, then our works shall be burned up and we suffer the loss of the mortal body. We shall be saved…as our spirits are saved…yet as through fire. the wrath of God upon us ends after we have departed this earth through the fire.

(15) If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Our mortal bodies are the temple of God. The temple is destroyed if we are preaching error . Let us not be led astray with the error of the wicked who are preaching things after their covetousness. If we keep company with them, we are being destroyed in the flesh so that the spirit may be saved. We become ONE FLESH with them when we sit together with them.

(16) Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
(17) If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Woe unto those that desire the “day of the LORD”!!! To what end is it for us? The day of the LORD is DARKNESS and not light.

Amos 5:18-24 KJV
(18) Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.
(19) As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
(20) Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

Let us not sit together with them in their churches running after their things. Their works are being shown for what they are as they all end in the death of the mortal body. No flesh is being saved in their company.

(21) I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.
(22) Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.
(23) Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.

But let us pursue His righteousness and enter into His rest NOW.

(24) But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.

The "former things"....the heavens and earth being stored with fire for our destruction...shall pass away for those who will DO His will so that they may enter into His rest NOW. there shall be no more death neither sorrow nor crying neither shall there be any more pain for the former thing ARE PASSED AWAY out of our current lives.

Revelation 21:4 KJV
(4) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Let us cease from our own works and work His righteousness ....laboring to enter into His rest.

Hebrews 4:10-12 KJV
(10) For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
(11) Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
(12) For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience. Let them not deceive us with their fair speeches and good-sounding words. They lead us to the destruction of the flesh and MANY go there.

Ephesians 5:5-7 KJV
(5) For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
(6) Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
(7) Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Titus 2:11-14 (KJV)
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
