Who Permitted Your Troubles

Let's Examine God's View of our bad days.

    MATTHEW 18:18 CEV
18 I promise you that God in heaven will allow whatever you allow on earth, but he will not allow anything you don't allow.

Many translations use the words "bind" and "loose" in this verse. Binding and loosing is a Hebrew idiom for exercising authority. It means to prohibit and permit.

    GENESIS 1:26 NKJ
26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

So far we can truly see that God gave us Authority to Rule here in this earth.
This means God has given us the Right to Choose or to make choices in all areas of our lives.

If that was not enough, there is
    19 "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

We can see God has given us the Right to Choose.

Then if that wasn't enough, God told (commanded) us this Big Key Of Truth.

In The New Testament (James 4:7) God tells us we are to resist the devil and I am sure everyone is very familiar with this verse. However that alone is Incorrect and very incomplete.

Surrender or Submit unto God and then Resist the devil and he will flee.

So we see here once Again That We Have Our Part To Do.

So if we find that things are not going our way..........Stop Blaming God and Demanding to know why.
God said walk by faith and faith does not need to know why but takes God at His every word, with out questioning.

Wake Up and Do What God Has Said To Do.
Do Your Part in this and Stop sitting around crying out.....Ohhhhhhh Christians just want to have fun And Stop Expecting God To Do What He Has Already Given Unto Us To Do.

    Look at John 10:10
    10. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might haveit more abundantly.

    1 Peter 5:8
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

So instead of blaming God for your troubles and giving the devil the right to keep on devouring in your life.

Stand up and walk in the authority God has given you and take back your day and Trust in God's love and His Word And Fight Your Good Fight Of Faith.

    One last Note...
Its the Doers of His Word that get the desired results He has Promised in His Word .
It's the doers of His Word that walk from victory to victory.

Being a doer of His word is a command and not a mere suggestion.

So instead of Expecting God to cater to your every whim and desire and blaming Him when things go wrong.

Use your Armor and Do What He Has Given Unto You To Do and Stop Allowing Your Enemy the devil, To Steal, kill and destroy.

That was so powerful!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

  3. I would also add that God told us to speak to the mountains in our lives.
The problem is......most do this but instead of speaking God's word and standing on it, they speak words of doubt and fear and anger and beg and blame God and just simply keep the door open unto the enemy in that area.

That may come as part two!
inquiring mind, godbe4me and Cturtle says Amen and like this.
  4. And, the devil only needs a crack. You don't even have to open the door of doubt all the way. He only needs a crack.
inquiring mind, Cturtle and Fish Catcher Jim says Amen and like this.
  5. That's why Scripture tells us He is roaming around like a lion Looking to whom he may devour.

If he has to look for some one that he can devour then that means there are those who he can't.

Which one of these we are is Totally Our Choice.
inquiring mind, godbe4me and Cturtle says Amen and like this.
  6. That is absolutely right. The ones he is seeking to devour are the ones who believes his lies. Those he has put doubt and discouragement etc into their minds. If you are standing on the Word of God, the devil can't win.
inquiring mind, Cturtle and Fish Catcher Jim says Amen and like this.
  7. Exactly and if you are not built up in His word, continually feeding on His word daily, it's a good chance you won't even recognize what's of the devil.

his thoughts don't smell like sulfur or have a big noticeable sign saying there are thoughts from the devil hidden in this good sweet sounding thought.
inquiring mind, Cturtle and godbe4me says Amen and like this.
  8. You know this post has me going and is truly food for my spirit. Sometimes you will have bad days I have to admit that I do. But reading this post pulls me to the word of God. You will have bad days but don't stay in that space. That space was not made for you and not made for you by God. That space is the space the devil created and hopes that you step right in it. But if we replace those feelings with the Word of God, the devil will flee. He will not just run but he will do a sprint away from you. The more you stand on the Word of God, you get stronger. When the devil see you are getting stronger he backs up. Then when he see you are no longer in distress, in doubt and believing his lies but using God's word with boldness, he will sprint away from you. And you have increased your faith. You have hope and you start to understand the schemes of the devil and how to resist him by using the word of God against him. The Word of God is our weapon against the devil. And, we are to use it.
This post was so good to me because sometimes you need to hear things again and get new truths from it. You can know a scripture and still learn something new from it. The Word of God says, All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right (2 Timothy 3:16)

So when your day is not going as expected, you must know that as a child of God, you are not alone. "It is the Lord who goes before you.
He will be with you;he will not leave you or forsake you.
Do not fear or be dismayed."
    ~Deuteronomy 31:8

Give it to God: "Cast all your anxieties on him,
    because he cares for you."
    ~1 Peter 5:7

Rest in the arms of Jesus our Savior: " Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me,
for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
    ~Matthew 11:28-30

Thank you so much "Fish Catcher Jim" You really blessed my spirit tonight.
inquiring mind, Smiler, Cturtle and 1 other person say Amen and like this.
  9. I am glad you are hungry! ! Far to many think they ate this stuff already and they are good and it is those very same people who are half way defeated before the devil even says a thing.

There will be much more coming on this.
    Stay Hungry For His Word
inquiring mind, Cturtle and godbe4me says Amen and like this.
  10. I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]
    John 16:33 AMPC

So why do we have trouble in the world? Because satan is the God of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4), and we live in its curse.

But..... our citizenship is in heaven

But we are citizens of the state (commonwealth, homeland) which is in heaven, and from it also we earnestly and patiently await [the coming of] the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [as] Savior,
    Philippians 3:20 AMPC

    And we are It's ambassadors

So we are Christ's ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ's personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God.
    2 Corinthians 5:20 AMPC

And how do ambassadors operate? They have diplomatic immunity from the country's rules that they are in. Meaning for us, because Jesus defeated the enemy, we no longer have to submit to any of the world's ways.

Reconciliation... means right standing with God (salvation)... And according to the Greek and Hebrew for salvation.... victory And deliverance is ours through Jesus Christ our Lord! Glory to God!

Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.
    1 John 4:4 AMPC

  11. Amen ! That He has and far too many believers get tripped up with these verses.
They " Think" That it's already done so they don't have to do anything and it should be peaches and cream and easy street for them.

Jesus stripped the enemy the devil and that's why he has to find some one to help him. Other wise he would take us all out.

He has authorised us with his name and empowered us to stand against the strategies of the devil.

Key has done all He is going to unless we do as he has instructed in His word.
That's why No Place in the New Testament will you find any verses telling us to pray to God to do anything against the devil.

No, We are told.....You Do It in my Name!
Again, Spiritually Lazy or Spiritually ignorant of the ways of God will not see the victory or stand and run the devil out.

Note.......he will come back over and over and over again. he wants to ware you down!!
It's not ever a one time thing.
godbe4me and Cturtle say Amen and like this.
  12. Possibly no one on this earth has been “tried” any more than Job, and although he did question “why”, he refused to sin throughout his trials or “blame” the Lord for any of his troubles... and even worshipped Him all the more (Job 1:20-22).
Fish Catcher Jim and godbe4me say Amen and like this.
  13. Thank you, Fish Catcher Jim, for starting this thread. You were obviously led to do it, and it has been so inspiring for me.
It may be thought of as a co-incidence that I came across it when I needed it, but it's not just a co-incidence, and I guess I'm not the only one who has been made to think again.
Thank you, all you other friends who have added to thoughts on the subject.
    All blessings on each.
Cturtle, Fish Catcher Jim, godbe4me and 1 other person say Amen and like this.
