When It Is Harrassment

  1. Whenever a message is not well received, by continuing would be considered as harrassment which is probably why Jesus had said that if a house does not hear you, depart, since it is on Him to cause the increase. One can always pray that later on the seed or water or "meat or "talent" that God has given you to share will produce the desired result that the Lord was ministering towards, but it does not need a repeat on our part after all.

So even in walking away and staying away to avoid a work of the flesh called strife is something I need the Lord's help with as my Good Shepherd.

  2. Harassment covers a wide range of behaviors of an offensive nature. It is commonly understood as behaviour intended to disturb or upset, and it is characteristically repetitive. In the legal sense, it is intentional behaviour which is found threatening or disturbing.

Sexual harassment refers to persistent and unwanted sexual advances, typically in the workplace, where the consequences of refusing are potentially very disadvantageous to the victim.
  3. In many countries, including mine UK, we have so many laws protecting peoples rights it will soon be possible that we will be accused of harrasment and abuse if we just breathe on someone, thanks to the EU in the main part for that.

Employment laws and rights of employees etc is one such area, what are you getting up to in your place of work? simply talking to someone about God can be grounds for disciplinary hearing as you have "harassed" someone and "caused offence", so thats another good reason to learn to walk away from a situation.

Another thought is this, do you think that continuing to throw a few more handfuls of seed on to a concrete path will produce life when the first handful failed?
  4. Agricola and Enow, You are expressing Jesus' words, "Do not cast your pearls before swine."

Gamesveta, You gave an accurate explination of harassment. I am a Christian being harassed at home, it is called Community Based Harassment, I describe my experience in this video . . . www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpJLCV5ssxA .
  5. Brian, if I may be so bold to ask...are you on any kind of disability?
  6. I would tend to disagree with this-a lot depends on the context. If you are in a discussion and the message isnt well received and you keep harping on the same point over and over again, I would agree that is harrasment, but if its a debate-that both members entered into willingly, as long as both sides are bringing forth new information, and are willing participants of said debate, then its not harrasment. Differing opinions does not make harrasment.

Our Culture has accepted two huge lies-the first is that if you disagree with someones lifestyle or opinion, then you fear or hate them. This is not true. The second, is that if you love someone you have to agree with everything they believe in or do, this is also not true. You can love someone, and disagree with them, you dont have to compromise conviction to be loving or compassionate.

If its a two way debate, even if the other side doesnt like what you have to say, as long as theyre still a willing participant and your being compassionate in the way your presenting your case then I would say its not harrasment. Harrassment, is continuing to badger the other person-even after they have left the conversation.

  7. When I first started making videos a few years ago, I was aggressive with people who were aggressive and rude. After a few months, the Holy Spirit sent me a dream. I saw some people tearing down a white tent, which had been put up in the mud, but was spotless.
Seeing this, I ran over and -bizarrely- began throwing mud on it.

After praying about the dream, I understood the message: that is what my hot retorts looked like in the spirit. I am more peaceful now. I try to recall all the times the Holy Spirit has corrected me. The great majority have been very loving and patient.

Enow, if you are challenging yourself to be more like God by sharing His love for others, then hallelujah! Just be careful you are not being too hard on yourself. God sees and judges success and failure much differently than we do. Sometimes we see a blatant failure, and God sees a full success. We don't always know what God is doing.

  9. Brian, I tried leaving a post on your youtube video. I hope and pray you are OK. You appear to be the subject of some kind of "prod, poke and provoke" campaign and I wanted you to know you are not alone. I asked if you are on disability or some other form of government assistance because I think those dependent upon benefits may be subjected to this type of harrassment. Brian, this form of harrassment is a hate crime and you simply must keep a video record of your situation. Buy a small camera and keep it with you whenever you go out.
You seem very flustered to say the least in your videos and you must do your best to discern impressions from reality. Listen to those who give you sure-footed views and opinions of your encounters and consider them. Ask the Lord for protection from those who wish you harm. Understand what is being done to you is done so to keep you destabilized emotionally to keep you uncertain and on the defensive.
Pray for peace. Closely regulate your interactions with others. Seek christian fellowship. Identify and stay within your emotional/social boundaries. As you identify those boundaries, you will see that most of your troubles manifest themselves whenever you have exceeded your limits and are failing to process and cope with a situation.
I will pray for you Brian but you must walk especially close to the Lord. No more picking up shovels to defend yourself. You only play into their hands when you do something like that. This is the Lord's fight. Not yours. You are being victimized but ,whenever you lose it emotionally, you become the aggressor and subject yourself to the judgement of man. When confronted retreat. Rely on the Lord. Turn over your concerns for others to HIM. You can't save them He can.
Always remember, the intent is to force eviction if you are on Social Security. Why? Because with the new laws you must have a place of residence and must have a checking account(direct deposit) to recieve benefits. Once you are forced to the streets you are off the rolls. This goes for VA as well.
God bless you Brian. I haven't seen any recent videos. I hope all is well.
