While I agree that common sense is seriously missing from this case, you also have to consider the rules. There are two sides to every story, and I believe that we should listen to the rules and obey them as needed.
If the school doesn't want rosary beads being worn, for whatever reason, I would rather not wear them than fight with them over it, because no one is going to come out happy and in the end, what have I gained?
