  1. V erse for Today

37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Psa 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Psa 37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Trust , Delight and Commit .... Just watch and see what the Lord will do when we follow these three. Believe in your heart that the Lord will do all He says and plant these verses into your memory . As we trust and obey and believe , He will as He says " Bring it to pass"
  2. Some of my favorite verses. Trust and delight in Him, which we love to do anyway, and look at the benefits. :D
  3. Mine too . Benefits you say .... wow .... Blessings , I would say . As our praises go up the blessings come down .
  4. His blessings do benefit us :D

    Psalm 103:2
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.

    Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
  5. Cool .... We are playing on words . I love it . There's that word trust again . amen .
  6. Trust and believe go hand in hand just like butter on your toast ... If we believe in Jesus then we turst in Him .

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved...... Romans 10 :10
  7. Isn't it great we can just trust Him and we don't have to figure it all out? We can just obey as He leads
  8. Yup ..... It is great . I can't understand why some want to make it so complicated . Some just have tpo let go and let God .
  9. The problem most have is they might do the first part but not the last half.

If I promised you something if you did #1 this and #2 that.... but you only wanted to do # 1 do you think you'd get it? :smiley10:
  10. :smiley90:.... Good Point.

  11. Romans 10

9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Most people that I know who say they believe in Jesus and say they are a Christian but there has never been a change in their life, it turns out that they left that part out.
  12. Those are the kind of people who think they are going to heaven but have a big surprise in store . They are the kind that have one foot in the church and the other on a banana peel ( or in other words dabbling in the world ) .... neither hot nor cold . Very sad.

  13. That would be shocking. Some are like that. They let the fire of God's love die out and become luke warm. But there are others who have never confessed with their mouth Jesus is now their Lord, so instead of being saved they are just church goers, or relibgious. There are alot in the churches that have never been born again because alot of churches don't teach about being saved. They just think they are automatically Christian because they believe in their HEAD instead of believing in their heart, and confessing with their mouth. For a true conversion they need to repent, that is turn from the way they are going and Receive Him in their life. Lord means they will do what pleases Him.
