Two sides of the same coin ?
Some say He was a profit
A rebel, looking for a fight!
An extremist, preaching revolution
Thinking He was bigger than the rules of this world.
A magician, an illusionist,
A con artist!
A subversive, proclaiming sedition against the church
An itinerant, no fixed abode
A scrounger, living off friends,
Preying on the vulnerable
Hanging around with
The detritus, the scum of earth
A Fantasist who believed He was the son of God
Some say He was
Something special
Son of the Living God
The fulfilment of Gods word
Here on earth,
He walked on water
Forgave sins
Healed the sick
Fed thousands with fish and bread.
Turned water into wine,
Made fishermen fishers of men
Spent time with the unlovely
Raised people from the dead!
Lived a humble life,
Rejected worldly possessions
Earthly status,
Rejected the established church’s constitution.
But followed what His Father said instead
Some say He was the Son of God
Come here to earth
So we could see prophesies written in the bible fulfilled
To show first hand how to live life here on earth!
Some say He knew His fate,
Death on the cross…
But stayed the course
Cos His kingdom
Is far more than earthly bricks and mortar or
Possessing the higher ground!
Some say that He was
Jesus, the Son of God!
Saviour, Redeemer,
My best friend…
Lord of all, or not Lord at all
When you tossed the coin,
