Trying to find a certain bible (I think) quote

There's a beautiful quote I read somewhere once that I thought was the Bible. Maybe it was from a Christian or spiritual author, though. Can you help me? I've tried online concordances with no success, so I may just have it wrong.

It goes something like this:

You shut your eyes and say you cannot see Me.
You stop your ears and say you cannot hear Me.
You turn your back and say you cannot find Me.

Do you know the source of this quote so I can find the exact words? Thank you!

I know the Bible pretty well, and I am certain that the quote you give is not from the Bible. I think you may have heard or read someone paraphrasing Isaiah 6:9 - He said, "Go and tell this people: 'Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing but never perceiving.'" (NIV)
