Luke 14:16-24
Then He (Jesus) said to him" a certain man gave a great supper and invited many, and sent his servant at suppertime to say to those who were invited, come for all things are ready. But they all with one accord began to make excuses....vs 21 so that servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant go out quickly in to the streets and lanes of the city and bring in here the poor, and the maimed, and the lame and the blind. And the servant said master it is done as you commanded and still there is room. Then the master said to the servant go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in that my house may be filled."
Folks, as i was praying about things, I believe that this parable applies to the Body of Christ today. Those who are to busy with their lives, or to stuck in religious beliefs and mindsets to come to the table of the truth of the living Word of God and get their fill.
The Father is not pleased with those who deny or ignore His voice and commands to speak the truth, or believe what His Word really says. Faith in His Word and ability to keep His Word and Covenant no matter what we see or hear happening around the world is what pleases Him. Preaching judgement or doom and gloom because of what we hear or see in the news media is not faith in God's Word. Its faith in what the world says, and the lies of the devil.
In Luke 15:4 Jesus said "what man of you having a hundred sheep, if he looses one of them does not leave the 99 in the wilderness and go after the one that is lost until he finds it?" This is God's heart! Vs. 7 I say to you likewise there will be more joy in Heaven over one sinner who repents than over the 99 upright persons who need no repentance.
Matthew 6:26
Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow or reap nor gather into barns yet your Heavenly Father feeds them are you of not more value then they?
Luke 12:6 - 7
Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therfore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
God loves all of His created beings so much yet we are in a place where the religious people want for us to believe that it is over. God has just given up on all people, so now we must just endure till He takes us out of here . Sounds just like the pharasee's, in Jesus day. Hmmmmm interesting.
People who preach that America or any part of the world who have lost sheep in it are hopeless to being saved and turned around for God's glory are 100% wrong. The world is full of lost sheep and God is raising up servants who will obediently go to the highways and byways to reach the lost. Who will obediently heal the sick, maimed and blind and who will put on the garment of the Spirit of God, to preach the true Gospel (Luke 4:18-19) and proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord (Jubilee) to the poor and bruised and oppressed.
God is going out into the highways and roads outside of towns and by the sides of the road to find people who will come in and Sup with Him, and obediently take His grace and love to the outcast the heathen and the immoral. For there was a time when we were unable to help ourselves. Christ died on behalf of us. At the right time, Christ died on behalf of people who did not know God. It is not often that someone will die on behalf of another person. Even if that other person always did right things. Very few people would die on behalf of that person. Maybe someone might be brave enough to die on behalf of a person who is very good and kind. (But here is the kicker) Christ (The Messiah or Anointed One) died on behalf of us while we were still sinful (when a person does not love or obey God). In that way God has shown us how much He loves us. So now because Christ died, God accepts us as right with Himself. And even more certainly, Christ will save us so that God will not punish us for always. While we were still God's enemies, God's Son died (God sacrificed His Own Son for all the whosoevers who believe)....(Romans 5:6-10 easy English )
For God loved the people in the world so much that He gave His One and Only Son on their behalf. So as a result everyone who believes in the Son will not die. Instead they will live always. God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world (or because He wanted to punish people). No, He sent His Son to save the people in the world (Jn 3:16-17 easy english)
Because as a result of Moses' rules people saw that they were doing wrong things. But while the people did more and more wrong things, God continued (and still continues today) to be even kinder (nkjv...where sin abounds grace abounds much more). So then all people became sinful and as a result they died. But all people can become right with God because He is so very kind. And as a result they will live always with God, because of our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:20-21 easy english)
Folks God is Love! He walks in Love and forgiveness just as He commands us, and because He is Love...He does a way better job at it than we do!
God's time for judgement is after satan's reign on the earth. People who do not know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, if they died right now will die because of their sin. But this has nothing to do with God's judgement. It's a result of that person denying Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and payment for their sin, and choosing to follow satan and the world instead.
That does not mean people in the world cannot be saved who are walking in sin. If they made the choice to close their eyes or ears, God knows the way to get them to open them again and compel them to the table to sup with Him....we just have to stay in faith that He has laborers out there, praying for those laborers to be strengthened and encouraged with the Holy Spirit and boldness. Praying for their protection against evil.
There is much work to be done....we can choose to be wherever God is and get involved in what He is doing, or we can choose to do our own thing and He will get someone else. This is a time for faith in what He is doing not in what the devil says He is not doing. So if you are judging what you think that God is not doing by the news.... you might want to find out where He is moving and get on the faith wagon.
