A job sweeping floors can hardly give you enough to live on. Plus, nobody moves you up from sweeping floors. If you have a cleaning job like that, since they are contracted out, that's all you get paid to do. Forever, till you quit.

They give the hard ones that nobody else wants to do to strangers and those who are suckers. And then don't pay them very much or expect them to do it all in a given time when it's practically impossible to do a very good job in the time frame given. Usually at night..
Nowadays since contracted out - you not part of the people who you cleaning for anyway so they don't care about you - you just the cleaner. And people nowadays do not clean up after themselves. many office workers and other ppl complete pigs! They will throw rubbish everywhere EXCEPT the bin! Even when the bin is right there.
