    Men, and Women of Vision

Rom 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh have Their outlook shaped By the things of the flesh but those who live according to the Spirit have Their outlook shaped by the Things of the Spirit
Rom 8:6 For The outlook of the flesh is death, but The outlook of the Spirit is Life and peace, (NET Bible)

The Bible tells us that “The entrance of his Word gives light” (Psa 119:130) Light gives our eyes the ability to see objects, whether it is a physical, or spiritual light. Physical light allows the eyes in our head to see, spiritual light allows the eyes of our heart (spirit) to also see.

Roman's chapter 8 tells us we are all forming a “outlook” (vision) by two different means. One by what our physical senses (flesh) are telling us by hearing, and seeing what is happening in the world, and the other by what Holy Spirit is showing, and telling us. The outlook formed by the flesh is death, as all we are doing is waiting to see what happens next, which is usually not good. The outlook formed by the Spirit is life, and peace.

When a man or woman has their life based on the Word of God, they should be seeing what that Word is forming within their hearts as a vision (outlook). Are we seeing health, and are we seeing our self's doing the will of God? Are we seeing all of our needs met according to his riches in Glory? Are we seeing the answers to our prayer? Are we seeing the mountain removed, and cast into the sea? We should be!! What we see is what the Holy Spirit brings forth as a manifestation from the spirit to the physical.

We know Jesus is coming back for his Church, but who is responsible for his return? We are!!!

2Pe 3:11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives
2Pe 3:12 as you Look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.

Looking “forward” is having a “outlook” shaped by the Spirit of God of Jesus's returning to earth, which causes his quick return!!

Jer 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Cursed is the man who puts his trust in man. This is a man who has NO vision, and is depending on his own strength, who only looks at what is happening in his world. The next verse says....

Jer 17:6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when God cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

This same man will only inhabit the “parched” places as in a wilderness. The reason why is because he is NOT seeing the good coming!!! The next verse says.....

Jer 17:7 Blessed is the man who trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the LORD is.
Jer 17:8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

This man is a man of Vision as he is not seeing the heat coming (which could mean trials, and tribulations) He is not fixated on his physical surroundings. He will not be anxious, or worried about anything, as he continues to keep his focus on the good, which causes his leaf to always be green, and will always bear good fruit because that is what he is seeing!!! 2. I am not sure I understand what you are saying. Maybe you could simplify it for me.

    You said......
"We know Jesus is coming back for his Church, but who is responsible for his return? We are!!!"

Isn't it actually the Father who is responsible as He is the only one who knows?
  3. Hello, CCW95A,

Like Major, I would like you to explain this too, please.

    Thank you.

  4. I believe what brother CCW95A is referring to is.......
It is written that when the gospel is preached or God's word of salvation is shared, presented or made known to Every nation, every tribe, every country that has kept it's people from hearing, then He shall send Jesus back For His People.

Now many breakthroughs are occurring daily and much of Russia is now open to hear God's word. It's amazing what has been going on in Russia beyond the media hype.

We are close but there are still area's or places yet to hear and see God's plan of salvation.

So if His people would join together seeking Him and His plan then we could wrap this up. However in this hour far to many Christians are simply fighting one another via their doctrines and personal beliefs stemming from lack of truth of God's word.

  5. Hello Fish Catcher Jim,

Are you referring to Matthew 24:14? If you are, then it is redeemed Israel who will perform that task, as Priests unto God, and not the Church which is His Body.

  6. No mam I was referring to what i thought CCW95A saying. That is why I said I believe what brother CCW95A is referring to is.......

So then if I believe this as you believe I guess I would have to believe that mark 16:5 and so much more is not for us but some one else.

That my friend will Not ever happen.
You tried to tell me James was not for the believer in one of Noblemen threads.
Others have tried to say 1 John was for the unbeliever.

No disrespect but that is simply foolish thinking.
Thank you though for your thought on this.
I will end this now for I am not going to get into one of those forum debates which I know you dislike as well. :)

Kindly do not accuse me of 'foolishness' without giving me the reference you are referring to, Fish Catcher Jim. For I have no recollection of this.

This is no way for someone in your position to speak to a member.

  10. Complete please look above at the quote. It reads others have tried to say 1 John was for the un believer.
No disrespect but that is foolish thinking.

Now Please show me exactly where I said you were foolish?

Again I apologize for any confusion in this and I wish you would not so easily jump to conclusions.

I did not post the exact post you made in brother Noblemen thread because it was not the issue nor did I want to dig it up. I simply was referring to something you said to me and had no idea it would cause problems. It was as a reminder.

  11. We are fools for Jesus, just trying to lighten the mood some Miss Chris.
We're all friends and in the Lord and we have disagreements like any other loving family.
