Singing In Tongues. Nicole Fujan Spontaneous Duet

Discussion in 'Fellowship Time' started by MichaelH, Dec 3, 2013.

  1. I just spent the night helping Nicole get this on Youtube. It was recorded in Champaign IL in a studio and was not part of her other songs, but just came on her to do. I have known Nicole for a long time and am blessed to be the first ones to hear this and help her with it.

This song is sung completely in Tongues.

If you want to see pictures of Nicole, and her facebook info or Google+ the link is below. Keep in mind this is to my forum so be led before clicking. I can only share these on my page and sorry I can't just share the rest of her songs with you.

When she becomes famous, you got the first chance to see her first published work. That is sort of cool.
Where is the Messiah likes this.
  2. Can someone translate this one for me?

  3. Can't be translated.
It's not in any real language.
  4. I didn't know tongues wasn't considered a real language. I need to study up on it, to understand the purpose of it.

  5. According to the protestant groups that subscribe to this belief
"tongues is a spiritual utterance prompted by the Holy Spirit"
and depending on who you ask it may be invalid unless interpreted by another gifted person

IMNSHO - all references to "tongues" in scripture refers to the speaking of actual existing languages
and therefor makes the modern phenomenon of "speaking in tongues" completely invalid
  6. "If anyone speaks in a tongue, two—or at the most three—should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. 28 If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God."

  7. that would be for "when we come together" in church. God is not the author of confusion and that was why Paul gave those instructions. A church full of people talking in tongues is very confusing.

Nicole gave me the full interpretation, she is no singing professionally in Branson in a show.

My advice would be to ask those of us that speak in tongues and have been for a long time, not those that have no clue.

I don't take my car to get fixed at the wife's hairdresser.

    be back, be blessed.
  8. Is this a biblical definition, or where exactly does this reference come from?

I understand what you are saying, but partially agree with you, and partially disagree with you. I agree with you that some speaking in tongues is completely invalid, but I don't think that it is not possible for someone to legitimately be speaking in tongues.

  9. That reference comes from the mouths of the many evangelicals who have professed to "have this gift".
The Bible does or does not support this notion depending on how certain parts of Acts and Paul's letters are interpreted.

As far as I am concerned "speaking in tongues" is the ability to speak and understand all languages, as Peter demonstrated.
  10. Very true, God is not the author of confusion.

Now that I have read a few more sections of the bible about speaking in tongues, I would have to say that biblically speaking, speaking in tongues is completely a language. If the bible speaks of having interpreters, then how can one interpret a language that is not a language?

  11. I think I agree with you on this part :)

But do you think this spiritual gift is done away with?

  12. Done away with? No, there are persons who have been given gifts of one language or another, either to aid their ministry or for whatver purpose God deemed fitting.

That being said, I find no reason whatsoever to think that the teeming thousands who babble incoherently are doing anything other than babbling.
  13. Yeah I agree with you, if that's all there doing is "babbling," then it is completely pointless. Then again, I personally don't know what they are doing, so can't say anything good or bad.

I think if it is the holy spirit that is allowing them to speak in tongues, then saying anything against it, would that be blasphemy of the holy spirit? But if it is not the holy spirit that is allowing them to speak in tongues, and they're just pretending, could that also be a sin against the holy spirit? Seems like a very serious matter either way.

  14. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is ascribing the works of God to Satan.
Neither is doing anything of the sort.
God does not punish people for ignorance, if He did we'd all be dead.
  15. What about ascribing the words of Satan to God?

  16. That would be more of a blatant expression of stupidity than anything else.
Though when the anti-Christ comes, I'm sure we'll see plenty of that.
  17. We're seeing more and more of it every day.

  18. Tongues is real, Nicole was not confused when she sang that, just talked with her this morning in fact, she is very busy. I have been praying in tongues for years, and Paul said those that pray in tongues are praying in the Spirit.

Now if having more power in prayer is not important fine, but I just quoted scripture.

You all know how to reach me, but I will help.

Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
    (1Co 14:14-15)

Praying in tongues, is praying in the Spirit. Now we all can grab hold of the tools God has given and get stronger in this area. Prayer is important.

NO, that would be Muslims that Memorize prayer parts in Arabic.. This is a Supernatural gift. Also the gift can come out in someones known language. I have not known the gift to interpret someones own language but God can do anything.

It's a awesome gift, the only of the 9 Jesus said those that believe on him, it's theirs, the rest are operations upon each man as the Spirit wills. Trust me.

If anyone would like to ask Nicole questions, I can get call her.

  19. Yeah, I'd love to know the interpretation of this song. Also, if you have this spiritual gift, do you have other spiritual gifts too?
    ElliDV likes this.
  20. If you read Paul's instruction to the church, the gifts are given as the Spirit wills........ to one man this, and that man that.

So, I have been used by God in the other gifts, like healing, but Tongues is the only one I have that does not edify anyone, or is much a help to anyone.

You can't really just hear naturally and understand the Song, but when Nicole first had me hear it I told her not to tell me a thing.
God has not used me to interpret tongues but I do ask for understanding.

the first thing I heard was the Lord speaking like the rivers of water rushing, 3 layers and I saw the earth, Judgement, I am coming and it's not to late to get in the plan of God.

She and someone else confirmed this without telling me a word, and I guess why she Picked planets for her video to show a big God and Judgement coming. (I tried to get her to fancy up the video, but she would have none of it)

Anyway, she did e-mail me the interpretation but I never got around to posting it on my site or here. I can dig for it if you like.
