  1. I am a Christian and my wife is not religious/spiritual; she 'cannot confirm nor deny' any type of deity. My question is about 1 Corinthians 7:14 where a husband is sanctified by the believing wife or the wife through her believing husband so their children would not be unclean, but holy.

My assumption is that this only applies to the children (being holy) and not to my wife as she has long been at the 'age of consent' so to speak, and has not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Can someone please explain this passage to me in a little more detail?

    Thank you in advance.
