Great passage. Even today, I'm 64 and thank God each day for my Dad who will be 85 this year, and still counsels me.
I may not always agree with Pop, but listening to him goes a long way.

Exodus 20:12, 12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

Your quote from Exodus is very appropriate. If we can't honor our parents, who we can see and interact with,
then how can we honor a God Whom we can only comprehend, but not see with our human eyes.
